December 6, 2022: On Wednesday, Chinese state media stated that Retired Chinese President Jiang Zemin expires at 96 of leukaemia and multiple organ failure.

Jiang passed at 12:13 p.m. in his city of Shanghai, the official Xinhua news agency added, publishing a letter to the Chinese individuals by the ruling Communist Party, parliament, Cabinet, and the army stating the death.

“Comrade Jiang Zemin’s death is a loss to our Party and our military and my people of all groups,” the letter read says the announcement was created with “profound grief.”

It says that “our beloved Comrade Jiang Zemin” was an amazing leader of high prestige, a glorious Marxist, statesman, military strategist and diplomat and a tested communist fighter.

Jiang is plucking from obscurity to head China’s ruling Communist Party following the bloody Tiananmen crackdown on pro-democracy fighters in 1989 but split the firm out of its subsequent diplomatic isolation, which mended fences with the U.S. and leading an unprecedented economic crash.
